The easiest, cornbread recipe is from Genius Kitchen. I modified it a little to make it the BEST! Everyone in the family loves it, including the picky teen. ???? With only five ingredients, this is so simple too!
Preheat the oven to 400* F while gathering supplies and mixing the batter. The prep is so quick you may be ready before your oven is!
2 boxes of Jiffy Corn Muffin mix
2/3 cup of milk
1 cup shredded cheese (I prefer sharp cheddar)
1 can of creamed corn (15.5 oz)
Mix the Jiffy, eggs, and milk together in a large bowl. Add the shredded cheese and creamed corn. Pour into a 13 x 9 pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes. I would start with 20 minutes, and if it looks golden, use a toothpick to check doneness. It should come out clean.
When the cornbread is ready, cool it on a rack for about five minutes before slicing. Enjoy with butter and honey!
